Meet Kendall Jackson, Patient Representative at Cape Fear Valley Podiatry Foot & Ankle Specialists – Fayetteville!

Kendall’s favorite part of her job is the connections she’s made with fellow co-workers and patients.

“I have seen some patient’s multiple times a week for years,” she says. “Some I see only once but I take pride in making sure every single patient I interact with feels heard and at-ease. And as much as I may brighten a patient’s day, little do they know they do the same for me!”

Kendall genuinely loved helping people and playing a part in their healing process. Being a patient representative for Cape Fear Valley has allowed her the opportunity to care for people within our community as well as the inspiration to further her career in the medical field.

“My ability to sympathize with patients allows me to build a connection and establish trust,” she says. ”Sometimes people need someone who will just listen, and I’m blessed to be in a position where I can be that person for patients.”

Thank you for all you do for your patients and co-workers, Kendall. It is appreciated and we are THANKFUL to have you as a member of the team!

Meet David Williams, Supply Tech II, in Distribution.

Ask anyone who works at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center about David Williams, and they will tell you “He’s great!”

David always has a smile and a story to share. It is obvious that interacting with the various people he encounters is one of his favorite parts of the job.

“I feel that Cape Fear Valley is a family-oriented workplace,” David says. “We realize that we are a TEAM and are each other’s crutches. No one person is above the mission.”

Being in the mailroom isn’t the easiest job in the world, but David tries to make it look as if it is. He says his co-workers are what brings him in each day.

“I love the interaction with people,” he says, “and the feeling that I am providing a great service for the healthcare system as well as the community.”

When asked what advice David would give someone starting a new career, he said to always strive to do your best and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Be humble and remember that if you think negatively, you will get negative results.

This is why David always brings a positive outlook into work each day.

“I have learned that the sun doesn’t always shine,” he says. “But we can still laugh during the rain.”

Thank you, David, for always bringing a laugh and a smile. We are THANKFUL for you today and always!
