WeeViewer Wednesday: Scott Morman 🏁
Scott’s journey into ultrarunning began as cross-training during his years racing 100-mile mountain bike events. What started as something supplemental eventually became a passion of its own.
In 2020, after completing his first 100-mile run and another 74-mile race shortly after, Scott faced serious injuries and was forced to step away from running for an extended period. Recovery required patience, proper fueling, strength work, and a complete rebuild of his foundation.
His persistence paid off. In 2025, Scott achieved his first sub-24-hour 100-mile finish and completed two 100-mile races in the same year, marking a powerful return to the sport he had grown to love.
Outside of running, Scott is a husband, father, and software engineer who enjoys spending time with his family and their rescue beagles.
Scott’s story reflects something many runners experience: setbacks, rebuilding, and the satisfaction of coming back stronger.
