I am feeling really grateful this week. đź’™

Denise Leslie wrote a feature about my coaching in Arts Perspective magazine, and she did such a thoughtful job capturing what this work is really about. If you would like to read it, here it is:
https://artsperspectivemag.com/a-wild-new-way-forward-with-cindy-schmidt/

It is always a little vulnerable to see your work reflected back at you in print, but Denise truly cares about the people and stories she shares, and it shows.

If you have not checked out Arts Perspective magazine, it is a wonderful publication that highlights creative voices, real conversations, and the people doing meaningful work in our communities. Denise pours a lot of heart into it.

Denise, thank you for the time, care, and intention you put into this piece. I appreciate you.

And thank you to all of you who continue to support, share, and trust me with your growth. It means more than I can say. 🙏

You’re not the only one asking deep questions about love.

If relationships have ever made you feel confused, overwhelmed, or just really alone, you’re in good company. Our next book club read, The Four Noble Truths of Love, gives us language and space to explore love in a real, grounded way.

We’ll share stories, reflect together, and remind ourselves: we don’t have to do this work alone.

Location: The Gather Room at The Leland House

Strong reactions to others, whether positive or uncomfortable are rarely just about the surface.

They often reflect something deeper within you:
A strength you’ve buried.
A trait you’ve learned to judge.
A part of yourself you’re ready to meet.

This is where projection becomes a pathway, not a problem.

If this resonates, and you’re curious about what your relationships are reflecting, I’d be glad to explore it with you.

We’re told to look for perfect love but that story can keep us stuck.

This March’s book club is an invitation to explore something deeper: the idea that love isn’t about finding someone flawless. It’s about learning to be fully ourselves in a relationship.

We’re reading The Four Noble Truths of Love by Susan Piver. Join us for thoughtful, grounded conversation in good company.

Ever feel like you're doing all the right things… but still something feels off?

This new blog is for those moments, when logic falls short, and you sense there’s something deeper asking to be heard.

We’re talking about intuition that quiet inner voice that doesn’t always make sense, but often knows the way.

This February, come back to your inner knowing.

Have you ever felt inspired by someone… or unexpectedly reactive around them and wondered why?

That kind of reaction often has less to do with the other person and more to do with what they reflect back to us.

✨ We tend to admire qualities we haven’t fully claimed.
✨ We tend to resist traits we’ve had to deny or suppress.

In either case, it’s not just about them, it’s about what’s ready to be noticed in us.

Relationships, even brief ones, can show us parts of ourselves that are calling for attention.

If you’re sensing patterns in who lights you up or who gets under your skin, I’d be honored to explore what’s underneath with you.

Valentine’s Day can bring up all kinds of feelings, not just love, but pressure, disappointment, gratitude, or even grief.

We often think love should be easy. But what if love is also what grows us?

This March in our Wild New Way book club, we’ll be reading The Four Noble Truths of Love by Susan Piver.

It’s a grounded, Buddhist take on the real work of relationships and how presence, truth-telling, and compassion can change the way we show up.

“Cindy meets me right where I am every week. I have not found as much break through with traditional therapy, and Cindy’s coaching gives you tools to change the way your mind thinks. Each month I notice little shifts in the ways my life is changing, and I’m finally experiencing freedom from self limiting beliefs that have never been true.” ~Lauren
We talk a lot about transformation but what does it actually feel like?

For Lauren, it looked like small shifts month by month… until the old mental patterns that used to run the show started to lose their grip.

This is the quiet power of being deeply seen, supported, and challenged to grow, not into someone new, but into someone true.

If that speaks to you…

Why does love feel so hard, even when it’s good?

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed by your own emotions in a relationship or wondered why the same patterns keep showing up, you’re not alone.

This March, we’re reading The Four Noble Truths of Love by Susan Piver. It’s not about finding the “perfect” way to love. It’s about understanding the ways love invites us to grow.

We’ll talk about emotional presence, the discomfort that often shows up in connection, and what it means to stay grounded while being vulnerable.

Join us for this honest, heart-centered conversation.

Love brings warmth, connection, comfort…
And it also brings out the parts of us we usually keep tucked away.

Jealousy. Defensiveness. Pulling back.

Not flaws, just patterns asking to be seen.

The shadow in love shows us where we’ve been protecting ourselves and where we might be ready to relate more honestly.
