Meet the counselor joining us for Coffee with a Counselor ☕

Chelsea Steck, LCSW, LAC
Founder of

Chelsea Steck is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Durango. She owns her own therapy practice, Down To Earth Counseling, which serves adults looking to make positive changes in their lives. She provides relatable, practical, and evidence-based therapy for mental health and substance abuse concerns. 

Are you curious about improving your mental health but don’t know where to start?

Coffee with a Counselor is an event for anyone 16+ who is curious about improving their mental wellness. Taking those first steps to start counseling can often be intimidating, confusing, or overwhelming. Chelsea will share information about counseling in an informal and approachable way, provide resources on finding a counselor, and discuss how to know if counseling is right for you.

Participants will learn and practice healthy coping skills, followed by a social hour to connect with others and ask the counselor general questions about mental health or resources. Free coffee and snacks will be served! 

***Please note that this event does not qualify as a therapy session and
is not a replacement for professional care. The goal of the event is to create an inviting space for community conversation and support.***

Together we’ll explore practical coping skills like grounding techniques, reframing anxious thoughts, butterfly tapping, and positive affirmations — all in a welcoming community space.

Curious about fascia and how it impacts the way your body feels every day? 👀

In this IG Live Recap, we sat down with a fascia maneuvers coach to ask some of the most common questions we hear from people in our community:

Our hope is that this conversation helps break down what fascia releasing maneuvers are and how simple, intentional movements can support your body’s natural ability to heal. When we learn how to release stored tension and reconnect with our bodies, we can start applying these tools to our everyday lives in powerful ways.

Healing doesn’t always have to be complicated — sometimes it starts with simply moving the body the way it was designed to move.
