Swimming lessons are fun and an important safety skill!!

The Durant Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce that public registration for our Learn to Swim Program opens Monday, March 2nd!

This popular program offers focused, one-on-one instruction with our experienced swim instructors across four lessons. Families can choose the week that works best for their schedule and help their swimmer build confidence and skills in the water.

We will be open Friday, Jan 23 as long as weather conditions permit. We expect Friday morning to be a usual day. As for Friday afternoon, routine checkups have been rescheduled for different days, but weather permitting will stay open for same day and walk-in sick visits. According to current weather forecasts, the ice/sleet will be Friday evening and snow afterwards. We will make decisions about Monday hours after the storm has passed. Stay warm and safe over the weekend!
