🎃 It takes a lot of coordination, care, and teamwork to ensure every child’s safety and comfort, and we’re so thankful for our incredible community partners who make this possible each year.

🎃 Our friends at the Durant Area Chamber of Commerce, Durant Main Street, City Hall, Durant Police Department, Durant Fire Department, Sheriff’s Office and multiple downtown businesses have embraced us since day one — and today was another beautiful reminder of what true community looks like. 💙

When we interview and hire candidates to fill our Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) roles, we’re not just looking for credentials — we’re looking for heart. 💛

Our team is built on compassion, care, and community. Each RBT at The Owen Academy helps create a loving, safe, child-led, and playful environment where every kiddo can thrive. 🌈

After completing a 40-hour training, passing a hands-on competency exam with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and then sitting for their final certification exam — it all comes down to this moment…

Thank you to the Durant Police Department for visiting our kiddos yesterday and giving them a close-up look at police vehicles, equipment, and all the ways officers help keep our community safe.

Our little learners had the best time exploring, asking questions, and making new friends in uniform!
