Lungs for Lisa Updates on Elisa during her lung transplant journey.

We would like to thank everyone for their support and prayers over the past week. With great sadness we are sharing that Lisa moved from her earthly body, on December 26th, to her heavenly home. We know she is in a better place with no more pain or sorrow. God has called her home and we know she is rejoicing with her husband and son.

12/23/22 Update- Lisa has been admitted with COVID at Duke.
We are thankful for the doctors and staff’s expert care and treatment. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers for healing as she overcomes this setback and rebuilds her strength for her lung transplants.
Please hold calls and txt for now as she gets much needed rest. Thank you all for your support for the strongest lady I know and love 💕 - Elaine McElveen

I created this page for anyone who wants to follow Elisa's journey. We are finishing up day 5 of testing. The transplant team meets every Tuesday so we hope to have a definite answer by Wednesday.

Thank you to everyone who has called, texted and prayed for us.
