Can we talk about what happens to a woman's body when life takes over for years at a time?
You have babies. You raise tiny humans. You pour every single piece of yourself into keeping your family going — and somewhere in the middle of all of that, your own body quietly gets put on the back burner.
Not because you don't care. Not because you aren't trying.
But because there is genuinely nothing left at the end of the day.
And then one day you try to come back to yourself. A gentle walk. A simple movement.
Something small just to feel like yourself again. And instead of feeling better — you feel worse. Your symptoms flare- your uterus and bladder feel like they are trying to escape. Your body pushes back. And the doubt that has been quietly building finally speaks up loudly.👇🏿👇🏿
"Maybe this is just what my body is now. Maybe it's too late for me."
If you have lived through this, you aren't alone.
I hear this from mamas more than you know. And every single time, I say the same thing —
It is not too late. It was never too late.
Like my client, a mom of 4, was struggling with prolapse symptoms she feared were permanent, and had nearly given up on her dream of running a 10k again.
Her story — and her transformation — is one I will never forget. And I think it might just change the way you see your own body too.
She had gone almost a decade without doing anything physically intentional for her health — years of having babies, raising children, and giving everything she had to her family had left her own body completely on the back burner. 💙
During those years, her prolapse symptoms were quietly getting worse. And the cruelest part?
😠 Every time she tried to help herself — something as gentle as a daily walk — her vaginal heaviness would flare and she would end up feeling worse than before. She was frustrated, in pain, and beginning to genuinely doubt whether feeling strong and capable was even possible for her anymore.
But she held onto one dream - running again.
Being on the trails, hearing the wind sing in her ears— without being afraid her body would give out on her.
That dream brought her to Radiance.
And everything changed.
Her care was built entirely around her — her body, her history, her goals, and her emotional journey through it all letting go of fear and learning how to trust her body again. Every movement was thoughtfully adapted to what her body needed. Every session included space to talk not just about physical progress but about how she was processing the journey mentally and emotionally. Because real healing of prolapse addresses the whole person — not just the symptoms.
The results were extraordinary.
✅ Running the trails behind her house, her dream— strong, capable, and completely without fear of her organs escaping
✅ Stronger than she had been in years — with real, undeniable, session-by-session proof of lifting heavy in the clinic
✅ No longer making constant trips to the bathroom throughout the day
✅ Prolapse symptoms — entirely gone
✅ Deep knowledge of how her body works and the tools to keep supporting it long term
✅ A completely transformed belief in what she is capable of
If you are a mama who has been quietly managing symptoms, trying things that make you feel worse, or slowly letting go of a dream because you don't trust your body anymore — this story is for you.
It is not too late. A decade away from your body does not mean permanent. And the dream you are holding onto? It is still worth fighting for. 💙
This is exactly why I have created programs for moms who want to feel like an athlete again and I would love to be part of your story. One of the ways you can work together with me this week is during the Postpartum Pep Rally where I will diving into the common lifestyle challenges moms face and workshop them with you so that you have easy action steps to understand how to fit fitness into your hectic schedule.
PS– And if you know a mama who has been quietly giving up on herself — please share this post with her today. She needs to hear this.
