Not all yoga classes are created equal.
Somewhere along the way, yoga classes got shorter… and savasana got shorter too. In many places the practice has become rushed, focused mostly on the workout, ending just when the deeper part of yoga could begin.
Yoga was never meant to be rushed.
In my 75-minute vinyasa classes we move, sweat, breathe, reflect, and rest. There is space for philosophy, space to connect breath with movement, and space to simply be still. The physical practice is powerful, but traditionally it was meant to prepare us for something deeper.
Yes, the practice is strong. But it is also rooted.
If you’re looking for a class that challenges the body while still honoring the roots and traditions of yoga, this is the space I love to hold.
Movement. Breath. Presence. Integration.
