At Kind, we believe meaningful care starts by listening.

Through assent-based care, we honor each child’s voice, follow their lead, and create space for learning that feels safe, supportive, and engaging.

Our services are individualized to each child and family, supporting meaningful progress in a way that feels respectful, collaborative, and connected. 💚

Today is World Autism Acceptance Day 💙

It’s a reminder to celebrate every child’s unique strengths and help create spaces where they feel welcome, understood, and supported.

If you are the parent of a young child, it’s natural to spend time wondering whether your child is developing “on track.” Many parents of children under four find themselves searching Google late at night, asking questions like: Is this typical? Should I be concerned? Am I overthinking this?

When it comes to autism, these questions are especially common - and understandable. Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental condition that affects how a child communicates, interacts socially, and experiences the world around them.

Some of the most meaningful leadership happens in the everyday moments. 💙

The women leading our clinical teams show up daily to support clinicians, guide growth, and create environments where both teams and families feel supported. Their impact is felt in conversations, mentorship, and the steady presence they bring to their work.

We asked them to share a woman who influenced their journey, and their reflections speak to the power of having someone who believes in you, challenges you, and helps you grow.

Tag someone who’s made that kind of impact in your life. 👇

Finding support for your autistic child can feel overwhelming. Many parents say this is one of the most challenging parts of the journey, simply because they want to make the best choice for their child and navigate a system that can feel really complex.

You may be sorting through waitlists, recommendations, online reviews, and conflicting opinions. You may feel pressure to move quickly, even when you are not sure what questions to ask or what quality care should actually look like. If this feels familiar, you are not alone.

Choosing a provider is hard, not because parents are doing something wrong, but because autism services can vary widely and are not always easy to compare.

Behind every strong leader is someone who shaped the way they see the world. 💙

Today, we’re celebrating the women on our Operational Leadership Team and the people who helped guide them along the way. The mentors, family members, and role models who influenced how they lead, support others, and make thoughtful decisions every day.

Their stories are a reminder that leadership doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s built through connection, encouragement, and example.

Who helped shape your journey? We’d love to hear. 👇

To close out our Team Spotlight series, we’re recognizing the most important member of all: the client.

At Kind Behavioral Health, our approach is individualized and person-centered. We focus on building communication, independence, and confidence in ways that are meaningful to each child and their family.

They are not just part of the team, they are the reason the team exists.
We’re honored to support their growth. 💙

Happy First Day of Spring! 🌸

This time of year feels like a gentle reminder that growth is always unfolding.

It’s something we see every day in the work we do. In ABA therapy, progress shows up in so many meaningful ways: new skills, growing independence, shared smiles, and moments that mean everything to a family.

To every parent and caregiver partnering with us, thank you for being part of your child’s journey.

Here’s to a season of continued growth. 🌱

After an autism evaluation, many parents leave with a diagnosis and a new set of terms they were not expecting to hear. One of the most common sources of confusion is the use of autism “levels.” Autism levels are frequently discussed without much explanation, even though they can play a role in how services and supports are planned. So what exactly do they mean?
