Guardianship is a court-established legal relationship in which an individual (the guardian) is granted the authority to make personal, medical, and/or financial decisions on behalf of another individual (the ward) who has been determined by the court to be unable to make those decisions independently due to age, disability, illness, or incapacity.
For Kind Hearts And Helping Hands LLC, a legal guardian is recognized as the authorized decision-maker for the client when documentation of guardianship is provided. The agency will communicate, coordinate services, and obtain consents through the guardian in accordance with court orders, state regulations, and applicable privacy laws.
Guardianship authority is limited to the scope granted by the court, and Kind Hearts And Helping Hands LLC respects the rights, dignity, and preferences of the client while ensuring services are delivered in the client’s best interest.
