The holidays aren’t always “the most wonderful time of the year” — and that’s okay.

Between busy schedules, family stress, memories, or feeling left out, this season can bring up a lot. If you’re finding it hard to cope, you’re not alone.

A few gentle reminders:
✨ It’s okay to take breaks — even from people you love
✨ You don’t have to say yes to everything
✨ Routines, rest, and movement can help your mind settle
✨ Talking to someone you trust can make a big difference

Most importantly: your feelings are valid. Joy and stress can exist at the same time.

If the holidays feel heavy, BHSPC is here to support you. Reach out. You matter — during the holidays and every day.

At our staff holiday celebration, we paid tribute to two long-standing board members who will be concluding their service at the end of this year.

Douglas Clamp has served on the BHSPC Board of Directors for 30 years. Mary Babb has served on the Board for 26 years.

Their outstanding dedication to the agency is a testament to their character, and their contributions will be sorely missed. We extend our gratitude to them for all that they’ve done for Behavioral Health Services of Pickens County!
