We promotote the use of current therapeutic interventions such as PROMPT therapy, Earobics (to help target Auditory Processing Disorders) and Beckmans Oral Motor Protocol. Has your child been diagnosed with Dyslexia? Is your child struggling with reading fluency, reading comprehension, and/or spelling?
WE CAN HELP!! Although Dyslexia is a lifelong issue, with the proper instruction, dyslexic people can learn to read and write well and become very successful.
Dyslexia is a language-based learning disability which manifests with symptoms such as reading and spelling difficulties. Early identification and treatment are the key to helping a dyslexic child become a more successful reader and writer.
At Brunswick Reading and Speech Center, we use the research-based reading program called Orton-Gillingham which is, multisensory, structured, systematic, and explicit. Our lessons are individualized to the needs of each child. We only offer one-on-one instruction, so each child can move forward at his own pace.
Brunswick Reading and Speech Center also offers independent Psychological Evaluations, Educational Evaluations, Speech and Language Evaluations, and Speech and Language Therapy.
