On we honor actor, artist, and author Fred Gwynne.
Fred enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and served as a radioman on a submarine chaser in the Pacific. After his time in service, he attended Harvard University and pursued an acting career. Fred is best known for his iconic roles as Herman Munster in "The Munsters" and the judge in "My Cousin Vinny."
