This week, the Northampton Post Acute team was joined by valued community partners at Blue Grillhouse to celebrate an incredible achievement—being recognized as a Newsweek Best Nursing Home for three consecutive years: 2024, 2025, and 2026.

It was a wonderful evening of networking, connection, and celebration as we reflected on the dedication and compassion our team brings to residents and patients every day. A new chapter begins with .

We’re proud to share the positive testimonial of Eleanor Cosper, who is now returning home stronger, more confident, and more independent after completing subacute rehabilitation at Northampton. Read more about their positive experience below.

In celebration of Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week, we are on Melissa King, Administrator, for her outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to resident-centered care.

A licensed administrator for 8 years, Melissa began her career as a Registered Dietitian, inspired by her Grammy—whose influence sparked a passion for working with the geriatric population in long-term care.

“I truly enjoyed my career as an RD but ultimately felt called to expand my impact and pursue my Nursing Home Administrator license. Transitioning from RD to NHA allowed me to shift from supporting residents’ health and nutrition to shaping their overall wellbeing, quality of life, and daily experience.”

In her role, Melissa has the privilege of helping build a community where residents live with dignity and purpose, while working alongside an incredible team dedicated to helping them thrive.
