So I am hosting focus groups for parents with newborns or are planning to welcome a newborn in our local Delmarva Peninsula area.

When : Tuesday Evenings at 6pm August - September.
Our Zoom should be able to welcome 50 per virtual focus group session. Technical difficulties seem to be our default... so we will do our best...

This week... Aug 5th
Looking to talk with local parents that have welcomed a newborn in the last 12 months or plan to in the next 12 months on Delmarva...

These reports from hospitals are collected and published every 2 years, so 2024 data released in 2025, next data set will be collected in 2026 and reported in 2027...

With Maryland passing paid time to care leave that starts in 2026... it will be I threshing to see how these percentage numbers are effected in regards to infant feeding of newborns.

I hope all of our professional work as IBCLC's with other allied health professionals working together is recognized and included in the data.
