A little Elf told us that Easton Area School District gets to have a Snow Day tomorrow!

We are hoping everyone has a really magical and safe day, so here are some snow day safety tips!

Snow days are the best… right up until someone tries to sled off the roof. So before the kids suit up and launch into winter adventure mode, here are a few quick tips to keep everyone safe :

• Bundle up like a burrito — hats, gloves, layers, the whole winter armor set.

• Sled smart — choose safe hills far from roads and trees.

• Stay visible — bright colors help us spot your little snow ninjas.

• Warm-up breaks — come inside for hot cocoa before toes turn into popsicles.

• Help the grown-ups — shoveling is basically a workout, but “helper snowball maker” is also an important job.

Enjoy the snow, stay safe, and have fun out there! ❄️⛄️

Once you’re all warmed up and relaxing watching some holiday movies to wind down the day, post a picture or two on this thread of your littles having fun in the snow! 🫶🏼

As this Thanksgiving comes to an end I sit here and reflect on all the great things that have happened this year.

Easton Emergency Squad was in a very dark place not so long ago, and over the past year and a half a very dedicated group of people have put their heart and soul into making us what we are today. We restored our reputation and rebuild many relationships in our community.

It is rare to have a team that is truly a family. Some may say a dysfunctional family, but still a family who support each other, look after each other and most importantly tease each other and some times argue like brothers and sisters. In a profession that is sometimes very difficult and emotionally draining having a support system and faith in each other is crucial to providers mental health which is something I personally take very seriously.

As a manager I am so incredibly thankful for every member of our team who “keep the wheels moving” every day. (A wise man used that phrase and it stuck with me as a motivation to keep on going) The compassion, dedication, and commitment to being the best they can be and serve the members of our community to the best of their ability makes me incredibly proud.

I am thankful for the opportunity to lead this team and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us. We are so lucky to have such strong partnerships with our family at Easton Fire department, Williams township fire company, and all our mutual aid companies that come in when we are out on other calls. A very special thank you to our incredible medical directors from Lehigh Valley Health network as well. Our medical directors spend countless hours helping us be the best we can be, through QA, or just taking calls with us and hanging out going over skills. The support from Easton City, Williams Township, all the wonderful council members, and all our big event organizers means the world to us.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! 🫶🏼

We are proud to announce that today we successfully completed our Pennsylvania Department of Health licensure. This comprehensive review evaluates every aspect of our operations, including equipment, vehicles, and administrative compliance.

This achievement reflects the exceptional work of our entire staff. Their dedication, professionalism, and teamwork shine every day, and it’s because of them that we continue to deliver outstanding care to the community we serve.

A note from management to our TEAM: Thank you for everything you do—on the streets, behind the scenes, and everywhere in between. You make Easton Emergeny Squad the exceptional organization it is, and we couldn’t be more proud to lead such an amazing group. 🚑💙

We’re proud to lend a hand at Operation Warm’s Winter Coat Distribution! 🧥❄️

Easton EMS will be at Cheston Elementary School on Monday, November 17th from 4–7 p.m., helping the Cheston PTA, Family Connection of Easton, and the EASD Police Department make sure local elementary students have warm coats for the winter.

We’re looking forward to seeing families and being part of another great community effort to support our kids. ❤️

🥓 Bacon Fest 2025 — That’s a Wrap! 🥓

What a weekend! Easton Bacon Fest 2025 was another huge success, and we’re thankful to have been part of it once again. Our crews were proud to provide first aid coverage and ensure everyone could safely enjoy the food, fun, and festivities.

A big thank you to the Greater Easton Development Partnership (GEDP) for trusting us to help protect their patrons year after year — your teamwork and organization make this event shine.

We’re also grateful for our continued partnership with the Easton Fire Department — working side by side keeps this event running smoothly and safely for all.

Until next year, Easton… rest up, hydrate, and maybe skip the bacon for a few days 😉

🥓 Easton Bacon Fest 🚑

Our crews along with Easton Fire Department are on-site all weekend keeping everyone safe (and maybe sneaking in a little bacon between calls 😋)

If you’re feeling lightheaded from too much excitement—or too much bacon—stop by our First Aid Tent for a quick check or a friendly hello. We are located in the circle along side the Lehigh Valley Live building!

Stay hydrated, pace yourself, and enjoy one of Easton’s most delicious weekends! ❤️🐷

🎃👻 Halloween Safety Reminders from Easton EMS! 👻🎃

Our crews can’t wait to see all the ghosts, goblins, and superheroes out trick-or-treating!
But before you head out:
💡 Make sure everyone can be seen — flashlights, glow sticks, or reflective tape.
🚸 Cross at corners and stay on sidewalks — save the scares for haunted houses, not the streets.
🍬 Check those treats before eating — because EMS prefers sugar highs, not 911 calls.

Have fun, stay safe, and if you see an Easton EMS crew rolling by — wave! We love being part of your Halloween night. 🚑🎃
