This new service has come about thanks to a growing community and a partnership with The Lismore Hotel in downtown Eau Claire. To request a mobile session, please fill out the request form located on the scheduling page. Once received, we’ll review it and reach out to schedule your session.

I did a chair massage the other day, and a woman told me something that mortified me: “My massage therapist has been hurting me for a decade. She says I just need to suck it up.”😳

Let’s be very clear: pain does NOT equal effective. That old-school “no pain, no gain” nonsense has got to go. Your body does its best work when it feels safe, supported, and actually listened to. Bracing, grimacing, and forcing through only teaches your muscles to resist.

It’s time to unlearn some s**t. Stop thinking a massage has to hurt to work. Start listening to your body. Greet it with gentle, empowered care. That’s where real release happens.

Your body deserves better. Your tissues deserve better. And yes…even Max agrees. 🐾💆‍♀️

💖 DOLLY PARTON OPENS “DOLLY’S HEALING HEART CLINIC” — A GIFT OF LOVE FOR NASHVILLE’S HOMELESS

In true Dolly Parton fashion — humble, kind, and full of heart — the 79-year-old Queen of Country has opened “Dolly’s Healing Heart Clinic” in South Nashville, offering free healthcare, food, clothing, and hope to the homeless.

“There were times growing up when we couldn’t afford medicine,” Dolly shared. “So now, if I can help someone heal — body or soul — that’s what I’m here to do.”

Funded entirely by Dolly and the Dollywood Foundation, the clinic provides medical care, dental services, counseling, and warm meals, along with a winter coat embroidered with her signature butterfly of hope.

As she cut the ribbon, surrounded by those she came to serve, Dolly smiled through tears:

“I’m almost 80 — I don’t have time to wait for ‘someday.’ Love belongs right now.”

Fun Fact: Your body can rebuild cartilage as an adult—just not if you’re moving in ways that break it down faster than it can repair. And as Pete Egoscue says, forget the old ‘that’s just the way God made me’ excuse. With intentional bodywork and functional movement, we can address the dysfunction and help your body do what it’s designed to do: heal and move better. The head comes forward, and gravity starts pulling downward. As the muscles of the neck and upper spine engage to keep the head in place—a job they were not designed to perform—the chin drops because the muscles can’t handle the increased load.” -Pete Egoscue

Here’s the deal: your pelvis sets the tone. Ignore it, and suddenly your neck is working way too hard, your shoulders are throwing a protest, and your head is basically collapsing under pressure. Fix things at the base, and the rest of your body stops doing the heavy lifting it wasn’t meant to do. Posture isn’t just about looking tall—it’s about giving your body a break. Stack it, ground it, and let your head actually sit where it belongs. Bent candy canes are best for eating-not being.
