Dr. Immerman routinely takes care of patients with pilonidal cysts, non-healing pilonidal wounds, and pilonidal abscesses and previous surgical failures with great success. Dr. Immerman is a board certified general surgeon and he has been treating pilonidal disease using the Bascom Cleft-Lift procedure for over twenty-five years. Patients from out of town, out of state, and out of the country are welcome.

If you are a long distance from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, we will take your history and insurance information by email, along with photos of your pilonidal problem and determine if you are a good candidate for the cleft-lift procedure. If you are, we can arrange an in-person consultation and surgery on the same day. Patients usually stay in Wisconsin between 3 and 7 days, depending on the complexity of the situation.
