Balance work might not be the most exciting part of training but it’s one of the most important.
After dealing with an injury, it made me realize how much I overlooked this.
Focusing on balance and stability has been a big part of my recovery and getting back to feeling strong again.

Back on the trails for the first time in 5 months after my injury.

Want to hit all heads of the shoulders? Try this dumbbell tri-set.
Front raise
Lateral raise
Bent-over rear delt fly
Run through all three exercises back-to-back with the same pair of dumbbells.
Rest about 60 seconds and repeat for 3–4 rounds.
All you need is a pair of dumbbells, so this can be done at the gym or at home.
You can also perform each exercise individually as part of your shoulder workout.
Simple workouts like this are great when you're short on time.
