Many of you are familiar with our Leslie🪄—the alchemist behind our regular sound baths. Now, I have the pleasure of formally introducing her as a teacher with The Alchemy Studio. She will be offering Kundalini yoga to our community with the same warm, grounded, and intuitive energy she brings to her sound baths. If you’ve never tried Kundalini, bring your curious heart to her Intro to Kundalini: Energetic Movement and Meditation workshop on Saturday, February 28th, 11-12:30. Book in advance on Mindbody, space is limited. https://clients.mindbodyonline.com/classic/ws?studioid=5744672&stype=-7&sView=day&sLoc=0&date=02/28/26
Check out her bio:
“Hello, I am Leslie Flint. I am a Kundalini Yoga teacher, Reiki Master, and sound journey facilitator. My work is rooted in a deep respect for the body, the nervous system, and the subtle energies that guide us home to ourselves.
Kundalini Yoga found me at a time when I was searching for something deeper—something that invited both presence and possibility. Through this practice, I was guided into a new place of surrender, acceptance and clarity. What began as a physical practice became an energetic path of listening, and trusting, opening me to a more compassionate relationship with myself and the world around me.
My teaching weaves together movement, breath work, meditation, and mantra to create spacious, supportive environments for healing and self-inquiry. I approach each offering as an invitation rather than a directive, honoring personal choice, inner wisdom, humor, and the unfolding nature of the healing journey.
When you allow me to hold space for you, there will be music. Sometimes, it may be my own or various playlists to include drumming, nature sounds, flute, and vibrational instruments. I enjoy ambient Celtic/Nordic folk, Nomadic flow, soundscapes, and more traditional Kundalini chanting and mantras. I will most likely use incense or herbs before a class starts so the space is set before you arrive.
Through Kundalini Yoga, Reiki, and sound journeys, I support others in cultivating clarity, resilience, and a sense of embodied peace—on and off the mat.
Outside of the studio I love to wander, though I am not much of a hiker. I enjoy walks in nature and I’m drawn to new places, following intuition rather than trails. I have a love for thrifting, experiencing new restaurants, travel, herbalism, and Dad jokes.
My husband and I have been adventuring together for 25 years. We are pretty good at adventures. Our children are grown and creating lives and spaces of their own. They keep me grounded and inspired. I also have fury family members. A cat, Lana and a dog, Bruce Wayne. He often joins my personal practice. Never judgmental and always supportive.
Trainings:
I attended Yoga Farm Ithaca’s Kundalini Warrior course (CYT-200). The course has strong roots in breath work, social justice, and honoring the roots of Kundalini’s history without honoring those who abused their position.
I received my first Usui Reiki attumeent and training in 1999, while attending school for massage therapy. I expanded my understanding in 2021 with local Reiki Masters.
Each instrument I play during sound bath sessions is played intuitively. I have no formal training and am exclusively led by my curiosity and intuition. “ 🦄
