Staten Island - Saturday, June 14, 2025 - Despite the rain, "I got Sunshine on a Cloudy day" was the sentiment of attendees at the Roc-A-Natural Cultural Foundation Inc's 4th Annual Juneteenth Freedom Parade and Festival at Tappen Park-Stapleton.

There was not a frown in the place. People came together in unity to commemorate and celebrate Juneteenth marking the emancipation of enslaved African Americans, and challenging us to keep striving toward justice and inclusion.

The Birthday Finale!

Island Spa in Edison, NJ with my Sister, Lisa Howard and Mr. Meyers was awesome!

From the Hot Stone Massage that penetrated my muscles to soothe those lil aches and pains here and there to soak in hot tub to a full Body exfoliation to remove layers of dead skin. My skin feels smooth and soft like a baby and body fully rejuvenated and reenergized.

Our bodies were worked over so much that we had a ferocious appetite for some delicious Key West Salad and Dragon Sushi Rolls.

Thank you much Mr. Meyers for an amazing and blessed birthday weekend!!!

"Celebrating the first day of Kwanza, Umoja 2024 at the Central Family Life Center located in Staten Island, New York and hosted by R.A.N, Dorcas Meyers, was amazing. The vendors and presentations along with the performances were outstanding! This is the third year and each one is better than the previous year.
