We’re on day 4 of snow days (from school; 6 including the weekend), but I’m making a break for it today ;) I have a full day of meetings, and I’m so excited to get out of the house!

Black & white thinking isn’t always a bad thing ;) I love the way the bold quartz bench ties together the wall & floor tile.

This built-in desk wasn’t originally part of the plan, but as we began looking into furniture layouts, we realized the room would feel really tight if we added a desk along with the seating area. Luckily, we were early enough in the process to make the easy change of adding a built-in desk between the cabinets. This is one of many reasons that bringing in a designer early can save you headaches (and money) in the long run!
