As we all know, 2020 has been a stressful year on many of us and our relationships with others; especially with our spouses and loved ones. We may have unintentionally lashed out and said things in the heat of the moment or closed off communication with our spouse as we coped with our stress. While we understand our reasons for this, our spouse may not and feel distanced from you as they’re left wondering what they did our how they can fix things. Seeking out a neutral third party allows us to open up about what stresses we’re feeling and helps our spouse see things from the other’s perspective so you can work together as a team to overcome these issues and grow stronger in your marriage with one another.
If your marriage or relationship is having difficulties, please reach out. I would love to help in any way that I can.

Needless to say 2020 has been quite a roller coaster for us all! A lot of us do everything we can to avoid dealing with our feelings. Things like worry, guilt, grief, sadness or maybe something else get suppressed as we'll try to pack our schedule so full each day in an attempt to avoid these issues. And by doing so we miss out on actually getting to enjoy life.
Sitting down for just an hour and talking through some of these feelings that we are continuously trying to avoid can help alleviate so much of the weariness we may be encountering, and help get us back to enjoying life once again!

Speaking aloud and verbalizing your thoughts and emotions lets you see them from a new perspective, instead of just in the interior of your own mind. Saying them to another person also makes you consider what their view is, meaning you can gain new ways of thinking about your problems, simply by letting them out. In some cases, people discover that their worries or anxieties aren’t really founded on any real cause for concern or that what they thought was a very serious issue was, in fact, nothing at all to worry about, which can be a incredible relief for the individual.
If there is something you're carrying around with you that you would like to discuss, please reach out to me and I will be happy to help.

"My first engagement did not culminate in the wedding of my dreams. I was fearful, clingy, and manipulative. He was prone to relational claustrophobia, compelling him to demand “space”—which triggered more insecurity on my end."
