BIG news from Walmart!! They’re officially phasing out artificial food dyes and unnecessary additives from their brands! This is a HUGE step toward cleaner, safer, and healthier food for ALL families and communities!

For years, these synthetic ingredients have been linked to behavioral and health concerns, and now one of the largest retailers in the world is making it easier for ALL of us to access better options.

This is proof that when consumers speak up and demand better, change does happen. Here’s to a future with more real food, more transparency, and fewer fake ingredients!

Changes to take place in 2027! Huge, huge WIN for the health of our country! I still cannot believe it when I see these headlines!!

Most corporate wellness programs fail because they rely on outdated, conventional health and nutrition ideas.

The real solution? Corporate wellness programs that actually work proven to lead to better health outcomes by equipping workforces to take their health into their own hands!

My corporate wellness programs take a functional health perspective that goes beyond surface-level fixes, a pill and procedure mentality, and bandaids. I dig deeper to find the root of the issue, detect chronic illness before it happens, and keep the workforce engaged for lasting success. This all boosts productivity for your business.

Now more than ever, people care about their health, but they need the right approach.

Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) pharmaceutical advertising pushes quick fixes instead of real solutions.

The U.S. is one of only TWO countries in the world that allows this practice and it’s costing us in more ways than one.

A 2021 a California EPA review conducted by the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), substantiated the connection of artificial food dyes with hyperactivity, ADHD, and other neurobehavioral issues in children.

These studies are evidence based and not just buzz talk on social media. Our childrens’ declining health outcomes are proof that food dyes along with other artificial ingredients and manufacturing/processing of ultra processed foods is damaging our children!

High fructose corn syrup (HFCS) doesn’t just add sweetness, it can add a serious strain on metabolic health.

HFCS is metabolized differently in the liver than natural sugars, where it can increase fat production, drive insulin resistance, and contribute to inflammation. Over time, this is linked to poor metabolic health outcomes such as obesity, fatty liver, diabetes, and heart disease.

Tyson’s commitment to remove HFCS is a step toward cleaner, healthier foods and toward better long-term health for all of us. Thank you !!

Did you know artificial food dyes can sneak into your food even when the label looks “healthy”?

Learning how to really read ingredient lists helps you spot hidden additives, avoid greenwashing marketing, and choose more whole, nourishing foods.

Save this post and pull it up at the grocery store to avoid confusion when it comes to figuring out reading ingredients lists.

By 2027, some of the largest food companies in the U.S. — including Kraft Heinz, General Mills, Nestlé, Kellogg’s, Conagra, Smucker’s, Hershey, PepsiCo, and Tyson Foods — have committed to removing artificial food dyes from their products.

This is a major win for public health advocates who have long raised concerns about the links between synthetic dyes and hyperactivity, allergies, and other health risks.

Healthier, dye-free foods are becoming the new standard.

👉 Do you think 2027 is soon enough, or should these changes be happening faster?

🚫 Artificial food dyes are more than cosmetic—they’re a public health concern.

Research continues to link dyes like Red 40, Yellow 5, and Red 3 with behavioral issues, allergic reactions, gut disruption, and even potential carcinogenic effects. While many other countries have restricted or banned these additives, the U.S. still allows them in products widely consumed by children and families.

However, the good news is that federal and state initiatives are beginning to push for stricter regulation of food dyes, reflecting the urgent need to protect consumers from unnecessary health risks. Food manufacturers must be held accountable to create cleaner products.

Not everyone can shop at Whole Foods and Natural Grocers where dye-free products are more accessible. We cannot heal our communities in a bubble. Clean foods need to be accessible to all. This includes calling the largest food manufacturers to higher standards.
