Join Us for Lisa’s Annual Drive For A Cure 2024! ⛳

We are thrilled to invite you to Lisa’s Annual Drive For A Cure 2024! This event is not just about enjoying a great day of golf but also about coming together to make a meaningful impact in our community.

Event Details:

Date: Thursday, October 17th, 2024
Location: Harbor Pines Golf Club

11AM lunch and registration, 1PM Shotgun, 5:30PM to 8PM Happy Hour and Dinner

What to expect? Plenty of food and bev! Awesome participation bags filled with all kinds of goodies. Games and skills competitions! Culminating happy hour and dinner. Silent Auction, Awards, Prizes and more. Live music by our good friends and co!!

Get ready for a day filled with golf, drinks, delicious food, live music and good times as we come together for a great cause. This year, all proceeds will benefit:

- **Blood cancer research**
- ** The Honickman Center
- **South Jersey student academics and athletics**
- **Supporting local families affected by cancer**

Join us on Monday, October 9th 2023 at Harbor Pines Golf Club for a fun day of golf, drinks, food and of course good times at Lisa's Annual Drive for a Cure!

All proceeds benefitting: blood cancer research, South Jersey student academics and athletics, finding unique ways to help support the local families affected by cancer.

11:00 AM Registration and Checkin begins
- Practice and Clubhouse facilities open for use
- Buffet Grab n Go Lunch including beer and refreshments
- Mini Putt Contest on the practice putting green opens for the day

12:30 PM Group Yoga Stretch

12:50 PM Pre outing announcements from the Lisa Oakley Memorial -Foundation and Harbor Pines Director of Golf

1:00 PM 18 holes of golf! (shotgun)
-On course contests and open beverage cart

5:30 PM Happy Hour and Dinner
- Open Bar and Live Music
- Culminating Dinner and Dessert
- Golf Outing Winners Announced and prizes distributed
- 50-50 and Basket Winners Announced

Thank you for all of your generous support of Jefferson Health’s Honickman Center at 1101 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia.

One year earlier on the first day of spring, the west façade was up to level 10 captured in the first photo of this post.

Taken on March 29, 2023, from the intersection of 12th and Chestnut streets looking east, the second photo is a view of the west side of the building on an early spring day.

It’s been a thrill to watch this beautiful structure find its place in the Philadelphia skyline! And speaking of finding it’s place, the third graphic shows the floors on which each medical department will be located within the Honickman Center.

It’s with with a warm heart and much excitement to share that the 3rd annual Eat, Drink and Get Sweaty sponsored by raised a total of $15,320 for this years beneficiaries - and the GoFundMe

Much love, thankfulness and appreciation for the founders and for dedicating their valuable time and resources in chairing their third philanthropic event since it all began. Dating back to February of 2021, these two community leaders have raised a combined total of $41,820 for cancer research and remembering our dear friend Kevin Sullivan by spreading his love and resilience to the next generation of rowers 🚣

Congratulations on this milestone! We look forward on continuing to find unique ways that benefit our community through health and fitness ❤️💚💜

And a special thank you again to all the volunteers, participants, donors and contributors, small business that continue to make this event a huge a success! We are truly blessed to be in this fight together with you.

This years Eat, Drink and Get Sweaty was a special one, many who made it a huge success.

A very special thank you to of for sponsoring this event for a third time. Your commitment has been a blessing and we really enjoy making a difference in our community with you.

Calling all bakers, dessert chefs and candy enthusiasts!! We are looking for donations for the dessert and candy bar at the upcoming - third annual - Eat, Drink and Get Sweaty event (Feb 25th, 2023) sponsored by benefiting blood cancer research and rowing team.

We would greatly appreciate any and all baked good, dessert or candy which will be displayed at the event for attendees to enjoy there and take home with the intent to also highlight you and your generosity. All leftovers will be dropped off to the hardworking nurses ! DM for more details and thank you for your help =]
