Cece Strong

Cece Strong Cecilia is a 10 yr old girl who is fighting against stage 4 brain cancer called Diffuse Midline Glioma. She underwent 30 rounds of radiation.

She has now completed her trial study called ONC-201. She will undergo radiation again and start chemo soon.

It’s DELIVERY DAY! 🛻

The amount of support we’ve received is incredible!
In just two weeks, we gathered just over 200 TOYS! 🧸
That’s more than we could’ve ever dreamed of!
I can’t thank you all enough for the donations, the shares, the prayers & the love sent to us all this time!
We could not have done it without you!
These toys are going to put to amazing use inside MD Anderson Children’s Cancer Hospital!

*some toys unfortunately did not make it in on time for this delivery but they will be kept until our next delivery date! ✨

Not only did we gather a ton of toys, this toy drive has continued to spread awareness of DMG/DIPG & Cece’s story which helps keeps her memory alive! We will continue to spread awareness until no child has to experience this!

Cece made such an impact in her short years and we intend to continue to honor her in every way she would’ve loved us to! She loved to help, she cared so deeply for others and her faith was so strong it continues to carry us today 🩷

One week update!

Amazing is an understatement!
Our Cece Strong community has really shown up & shown out for us! ❤️
In just one week, we have collected OVER 100 toys! 🧸
From people near & far - thanks to all the shares!
This is turning out bigger than we could’ve imagined!

Our wishlist is still up & we are still collecting locally until December 15th!
Anything makes all the difference, no gift is too small!

In just 6 hours, we’ve collected so many items! We are absolutely blown away!
If Cece could see this right now, she’d be OVER THE MOON excited!! 🥹

To answer some common questions -
* YES, you absolutely can buy things other places! We can meet up with you at any time or any place!

Happy Holidays everyone, I know it’s been awhile since we’ve been active here. Life without our girl hasn’t been the same and with the holidays coming up, she’s been heavy on our hearts more than ever.

MD Anderson was our second home for 14 months. They were so awesome about keeping her & all the kids there happy which has prompted me into wanting to do a Toy Drive in honor of Cece from now to December 16th.

Every child is given a toy every time they have their blood drawn or have to get an IV.
Every radiation session, children earn “money” they can cash in for a toy.
There’s also other ways children receive toys there but, these are the ways Cece got them.
It was so vital for Cece & other kids to receive these things because not only is treatment heavy physically, the mental toll of cancer hits these kids so hard. Those little toys make all the difference.
But sometimes, they don’t have enough toys to give out or there wasn’t age appropriate toys for Cece or the older children. Those programs are run off private donations. MD Anderson isn’t primarily known as a children’s hospital, but they provide amazing services to children of ALL ages.

Below is an Amazon Wishlist I’ve made with some ideas of toys or things you can donate.
We will be taking these gifts on December 16th to give plenty of time to raise as many toys as possible!
Along with these donations, we will also be donating all of the things Cece was graciously given off her own Amazon wishlist that she did not get to use because I know that’s what she would want. She loved to give & she cared so much for everyone else more than herself.

The new Lilo & Stitch Movie came out this week.
Our sweet girl was anxiously waiting, she could not wait to see it! She watched the trailer so many times.

We will be watching it tomorrow as a family for her but we would also like to give away 6 tickets for a family to go see the new movie with their kiddos or loved ones in honor our Cece! 💜

We have purchased 6 tickets to the 3:45pm showing at Cinemark Victoria 12 in Victoria, Texas. 🙂

Cecilia was an active Junior level scout from Troop 29040 for 3 years. We received her badges & achievements from this past season.
