The SARH Advisory Board, the SARH Foundation Advisory Board, and the Women's Wellness Board met today to express their support for "Access For Life," a proposed half-cent sales tax that would create a dedicated local revenue source to support our local hospital. The guest presenter was Dr. Steve Smart, who serves as a representative of the SARH Board of Directors.

We learned that this sales tax will help improve, maintain, renovate, expand, and equip the hospital facilities. The tax will be retained by the City, and funds will be expended through a reimbursement process.

Election dates are quickly approaching. Early voting begins 2/16/26 at the Municipal Auditorium, and the primary election day is 3/3/2026.

We need your support! Vote yes and keep our hospital here in El Dorado.
