Joshua Boloyan Veteran Resources Advocate 🇺🇸 Veterans Advocate | Helping veterans nationwide Transitioning out of the military can leave many Veterans feeling lost or confused.

A significant challenge is that most service members are not properly examined upon exit, meaning the burden of proving service-connected disabilities falls squarely on their shoulders. Even with excellent free resources like Veteran Service Officers (VSOs) and Accredited Agents, many Veterans struggle to get the help they need due to heavy organizational workloads and a lack of personalized support. Worse, some predatory claims organizations often prey on those who are seeking assistance. Time is critical when filing a claim, and finding trusted help can be difficult. Our Aim: Access and Connection. We simplify this process by vetting and reaching out to organizations with proven track records, including respected groups like the DAV, WWP, and VFW, as well as trusted Claims Support Organizations. We find out who is available and best equipped to handle your specific situation, and then we make the connection for you.

~ Disclaimer ~

We are NOT an accredited agent, VSO, Attorney, or entity recognized by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) and is not affiliated with the VA in any way. Furthermore, we do NOT assist veterans with the preparation, presentation, and prosecution of VA disability claims for benefit. Veterans will have to prepare and file their own claim by their own doing or work with an accredited representative recognized by the Department of Veteran Affairs. Most representatives will provide these services to veterans FREE of charge. Veterans at any time can seek out and appoint an accredited Veteran Service Officer who is recognized by the VA. Veterans can search and seek out accredited attorneys and claims agents here: https://www.va.gov/ogc/apps/accreditation/index.asp

🇺🇸 A CRITICAL MESSAGE FOR VETERANS IN OUR COMMUNITY (PLEASE READ)

The Challenge: We know the veteran claims system is under immense strain. The constant, overwhelming load on VSOs (Veteran Service Organizations) and other support systems means that too many veterans are struggling and being pushed aside in their pursuit of the benefits they earned.

Our Goal: Connecting You to Quality Support My mission isn't to cut benefits or make the process harder. It's to ensure no one falls through the cracks.

I dedicate my time to scanning local and regional organizations—especially those partnered with medical facilities—to find the highest quality and most available support in your area. This targeted approach is designed to supplement the great work VSOs do by providing additional, impactful resources right where you live.

How I Can Help You Today: If you or a veteran you know are facing frustration, delays, or feeling overlooked in the disability claims process:

1. Reach out to me directly with your ZIP code and a preferred contact method (email or phone). I will send you links to VSO's, Accredited Agents, and Trusted Claim support organizations in your area

2. I will work to make a connection to the best-suited organization I can find near you.

3. All I ask is that you follow up and let me know if the connection was helpful. Your feedback is essential for me to grow and improve this network for other veterans.

Let's make this process better, together. My main goal is simply to grow this network and share these vital connections so that we can ultimately help more veterans secure the care and benefits they deserve.

Thank you for your service. I'm here to help.

Why I Recommend Certain Non-Accredited Claim Support Organizations

I want to be completely transparent with my community about why I sometimes recommend non-accredited, non-VA–affiliated claim support organizations. This isn’t because I oppose VSOs, accredited agents, or the VA. In fact, I actively support them and refer veterans to those free resources every single day.

But here’s the reality many veterans already know:

1. VSOs and accredited organizations are overwhelmed.

Across the country, VSOs handle massive workloads with limited staff. Because of that, many veterans experience:
• Long wait times
• Delayed responses
• Claims being pushed back
• Rushed or incomplete guidance
• Lower-quality support simply due to staff overload

This isn’t because VSOs don’t care. It’s because they’re overworked and under-resourced.

2. Many veterans don’t receive the rating they actually deserve.

Inconsistent claim preparation, missing evidence, or lack of time spent reviewing a case can lead to:
• Under-rated conditions
• Missed secondary conditions
• Avoidable denials
• Years of delays trying to fix an original error

That’s where some private organizations step in.

3. Yes — there is controversy in the fee-based industry.

Not every organization operates the right way.
Some overcharge.
Some cut corners.
Some don’t understand Title 38 CFR and VA standards well enough to give proper guidance.

This is exactly why I take the time to screen the groups I personally connect veterans with.

4. The organizations I choose to work with must:
• Follow procedures consistent with federal law
• Provide legitimate services that do not violate VA rules
• Use licensed medical professionals to review records
• Compare documentation against 38 CFR rating criteria
• Identify potential increases or secondary conditions ethically
• Provide veterans with the documentation needed to file their own claim
• Charge a reasonable fee for the level of service provided
• Operate with honesty, transparency, and integrity

A veteran should always be empowered to file their claim themselves or with a VSO — these organizations simply provide the evidence, coaching, and support, not just help with claim filing.

5. Veterans always have a choice.

Just like any other service in America, veterans can choose:
• Free resources
• Accredited VSOs
• Accredited attorneys
• Or private organizations that offer additional support

There is no one-size-fits-all approach.
Some veterans do amazing working with VSOs.
Others need more hands-on guidance, deeper medical reviews, or help gathering evidence.

6. The results speak for themselves.

The organizations I trust have helped thousands of veterans strengthen their claims by providing:
• Properly developed medical evidence
• Professional DBQs
• Clear nexus opinions
• Thorough reviews of conditions vets didn’t realize were ratable

Veterans then file the claim themselves or through a VSO — with better evidence and a stronger case.

7. My mission remains simple:

To give every veteran options, support, and the tools they need to fight for the rating they earned through their service.

Whether you choose free support or want an added edge through a screened private organization, I’m here to guide you in the right direction — ethically, transparently, and always with your best interest in mind.

There’s been a lot of conversation lately about changing or cutting VA disability benefits. As a Veterans Advocate—and as someone who was injured while serving—I want to speak clearly on this:

When you raise your right hand and take the oath, you are agreeing to give your life for your country. That commitment alone earns respect, but if at any moment during your service you’re injured, your condition worsens, or your life is impacted in a way that follows you long after you take off the uniform, you deserve compensation. Period.

It doesn’t matter if you served four years or twenty.
It doesn’t matter if you deployed or never left your duty station.
You could be marching with your platoon, slip, fall, injure your back—and that injury can follow you for the rest of your life.

Service is service. An injury is an injury. A disability is a disability.

We live in a nation built on freedom, and that freedom is protected by those who volunteer to stand between our people and danger. The idea that we should punish veterans whose lives were changed by their service—by cutting benefits or removing financial support—especially in a time where the cost of living is at an all-time high, is unbelievable.

My name is Joshua, and I am a Veterans Advocate.
I received injuries in the Marine Corps. I spent years in therapy, endured surgeries, and the long-term impact means I can never take on certain federal or physically demanding positions ever again. Many veterans are living the exact same reality—conditions you can’t see from the outside, but ones that affect every part of their daily life.

The truth is this:
• The system doesn’t need to punish veterans. It needs to be updated so veterans are compensated fairly.
• VSOs are overwhelmed, and the demand is higher than the system can currently support.
• This gap has led to many outside organizations stepping in—some legitimate, doing great work, and some not.
• But the answer is NOT to take benefits from veterans.

The answer is to fix the structure, improve accountability, and prevent the situations that cause these injuries and traumas in the first place.

Many veterans live with mental health issues, military sexual trauma, chronic pain, and conditions deeply rooted in their time in uniform. Those problems are not solved by cutting benefits—they’re solved by improving leadership, safety, culture, training, and support inside the military.

I stand with every veteran who served—those who deployed and those who didn’t, those wounded physically and those wounded silently. If your life was changed by your service, you earned every ounce of the compensation you receive.

We don’t reduce benefits. We improve the system.
We don’t blame veterans. We protect them.
And we never forget the cost of service.

Subject: Veterans: Find FREE Accredited Claim Help & Avoid the SCAMS

Hello, my name is Joshua, and I'm a Veterans Advocate. I've worked alongside organizations like the DAV in Virginia and the WWP in El Paso.

The VA claims process is confusing, and unfortunately, it's full of people trying to take advantage of veterans.

My mission is to be your free resource to find legitimate help.

🛑 Sifting Out the "Sharks"
I help veterans avoid unaccredited individuals or companies that illegally charge fees (upfront or a percentage of your back pay) simply for filling out and submitting your initial claim paperwork. Claim filing services from a VSO should always be free.

âś… Connecting You to Legitimate Resources
I connect you directly with a trusted network of:

Free Accredited Representatives: VSOs and other non-profits who will handle your claim filing and representation at no cost to you.

Legitimate Paid Support: Trusted Veteran organizations and accredited agents who can provide high-quality, professional services (like Nexus Letters or Independent Medical Opinions/DBQs) which sometimes require a fee—but are necessary for a strong claim and are legal when provided by the right professional.

I'll help you find the right kind of help for your specific needs.

Need guidance? Reach out directly!

👤 Contact Name: Joshua (Veterans Advocate)

P.S. Please share this post with other veterans! The more we share, the harder it is for scams to operate. Also let me know if the support I sent was helpful, that helps us confirm organizations that have good track records offering legitimate services.
