This patient’s main complaints: fatigue, anxiety, and brain fog following an intense year from a messy divorce. I know about stress from divorce. It’s a loss that you don’t get time off from and if you are also a parent during this transition - it can be extra draining. I am so glad she came in to take care of her self and will also begin TCM herbs that she can take daily to continue to heal 💗

I enjoy receiving texts like this because it keeps me grounded in my purpose of why I became an acupuncturist/ herbalist. I am so grateful I am able to practice Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) that I know provides healing of the mind, body, and alma/ soul 💖

These texts always bring me so much joy and ground me in my work as a reproductive acupuncturist/ herbalist 🥹

I have been supporting this patient since the end of November of last year. She has been working hard to prep for her IVF retrieval/ transfer. She came in this week with some side effects from her IVF meds and I was so glad she had an acupuncture appointment booked this week to help. We are getting so close to the “finish line.”

This text right here is part of why I do what I do. I love my job, and connecting with patients during such an arduous and joy filled path to growing their family. It is such a unique privilege to be a small part in a patient’s IVF/ fertility path 💗

Yesterday, was 10 years since my dad crossed over… It was such a heavy day filled with tears, memories, and even pan dulce. I tried to make sense of what 10 years without the physical presence of my dad has meant to me and my small family… It is a lot to hold and comprehend.

I will say with my whole heart and alma/ soul is that it is such a privilege to be his daughter. It’s a privilege to have been able to see my dad grow into him self and see him as a unique human with flaws and beauty. He was unbelievably adventurous and had a laugh that would turn heads 🫶🏽

If you have been here for bit you know that I don’t shy away from all of the stages of grief and I truly believe we don’t talk enough about it. Thank you for being here to witness my grief and love 💓
