The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists reaffirms the safety and benefits of acetaminophen use during pregnancy.
More than two decades of research have found no causal link between acetaminophen use during pregnancy and autism, ADHD, or intellectual disability in children. Acetaminophen continues to be an important and safe option for managing pain and fever in pregnancy—conditions that can pose serious risks to pregnant patients and their fetuses if left untreated. Please note that vaccines are on their way, but if you schedule a well visit for the next couple of weeks, it’s possible we may have to give their vaccines later.

I am now credentialed with WellPoint and Preferred Administrators! I’m still waiting on Medicaid/El Paso First, BCBS NM and Molina Texas as well as Multiplan. My Superior Health and Oscar Health patients can start seeing me on August 1!
