It is a joy to recognize that two organizations have now been offering School for Body-Mind Centering® programs for 20 years. Two decades of inquiry, embodiment, and relationship.

The School was founded as a living exploration, and it continues to grow through the dedication of those who hold and transmit the work with integrity and care. I am grateful for the many hands and hearts that have sustained these programs.

Study Body-Mind Centering® in Taiwan!

A new cycle of our Somatic Movement Education Program is starting in Taiwan in August 2026 through 臺灣身心教育學會 Somatic Education Society of Taiwan.

All courses are taught in English and Mandarin with consecutive translation.

Join moveus GbR on March 26 in Berlin, Germany for an introduction workshop. It is open to anybody interested, especially parents, educators, therapists, and other somatic practitioners.

This workshop is an invitation to have an embodied experience of the development in the first year of life, and to begin to understand the potential of the IDME approach in the field of care, especially for families with a child with a disability or a developmental delay.

We are offering two workshops in Berlin related to the IDME Program:

Directed by Thomas Greil and Friederike Tröscher in collaboration with Odile Seitz-Walser

March 29, 2026 (10-17): IDME Introduction Workshop: open to anybody interested, especially parents, educators, therapists, and other somatic practitioners.
This workshop is an invitation to have an embodied experience of the development in the first year of life, and to begin to understand the potential of the IDME approach in the field of care, especially for families with a child with a disability or a developmental delay.
Fee: 100€/ early registration 80€ (until February 10)

March 26-28, 2026 (10-18): IDME Advanced Course for IDME graduates

In this advanced course we build on the shared knowledge as IDMEs and the experience everybody brings. We will have the chance to share experiences, questions, doubts, what worked and what did not work, as well as practice together. We will have multiple families visiting, so there is the chance to be with a family together or under supervision of an experienced IDME or IDME teacher.

Fee: 300€/ early registration 250€ / Sunday 50€ (until February 10)

A new cycle of the Infant Developmental Movement Education Program is starting in Italy in September 2026 with Leben nuova!

All courses are taught in Italian and English with consecutive translation.

The School for Body-Mind Centering® Infant Developmental Movement Education (IDME) Program is a highly sophisticated and subtle approach to the observation and facilitation of normal movement patterns in infants.

The approach incorporates the child’s curiosity, interest and individuality into the relationship with the educator. It is child centered and relationship centered, and child oriented rather than task oriented.

It trains people to recognize early movement patterns and to interact effectively with infants in gentle, enticing ways that will have a positive effect on their growth and development.

The goal in movement education with infants is to help set a foundation that supports pathways of ease, strength, agility and adaptability and to help avoid restrictive patterns of movement that inhibit the development of the full potential of the child.

Explore the fluid system from a Body-Mind Centering® perspective in Melbourne, Australia in February!

The fluids are the transportation system of the body. They underlie presence and transformation, set the ground for basic communication, and mediate the dynamics of flow between rest and activity, tension and relaxation.

The characteristics of each fluid relate to a different quality of movement, touch, voice, and state of mind. These relationships can be approached from the aspects of movement, mind states, or from anatomical and physiological functioning.

This course is part of the Somatic Movement Education Program but can be taken independently without commitment to the entire program.

This course is offered through Somatic Education Australasia – please contact them directly to register.
