We are so honored and excited to be awarded the Silver Quality Award!!

Congratulations to the homes who received a Silver Quality Award from the American Health Care Association! This award is based upon performance in the areas of leadership, strategic planning, customer and workforce, operations, and knowledge management.

The recipients are: Cloverdale Manor, Diversicare in Arab, Elba General Hospital and Nursing Home, North Hill Nursing & Rehab and TLC Nursing Center.

Please remember our neighbors and friends over in Enterprise as they navigate this terrible incident. Thankful that no one was injured, but prayers for our amazing first responders as they work tonight and for the residents who are displaced. And also for the staff and administrators involved as they work to recover and get their residents back home. ❤️

Wednesday, 16-APR-2025, 11 PM Incident Update
Structure Fire at Command Sgt. Maj. Bennie G. Adkins State Veterans Home

Firefighters remain actively working to contain a fire in the attic of the Command Sergeant Major Bennie G. Adkins Veterans Home.
No injuries have been reported. All residents have been transported to Enterprise Health and Rehab out of an abundance of caution.

Unified Command has been established and is working this incident.

The fire was reported around 5:45 p.m. Enterprise Fire Department responded and began to cut into the roof to stop the spread. Due to the complex construction design, fire crews continue to control and isolate the fire and prevent it from spreading further.

Multiple agencies and responders are working this incident. We are thankful for all of them and their efforts.

We plan to provide our next update around midnight.
