One of the hardest parts of running a small business is looking at the numbers each year and deciding which products are exceeding expectations…and which ones didn’t quite grow the way we hoped.

And when that happens, we sometimes have to make the tough decision to retire products we truly love so we can focus on the ones you love most, and make space for new things ahead.

This year’s cuts are some of the biggest we’ve made yet, and honestly…we’re a little sad about it. But we’re also really excited for what it opens the door for.

It’s that time of year…when we dive into the numbers to see what you loved most…and what didn’t quite make the cut.

After some tough decisions (and yes…a few tears 😭), a few products will officially be retiring. Some of them are even our favorites!

Today is International Women’s Day, and I’ve been reflecting on the three girls who inspire me the most…my daughters. 🤍

They are the reason I keep pushing forward, even during the difficult days, the challenging seasons, and the moments when I feel like throwing in the towel. Being their mom means more than just loving them…it means showing them what resilience looks like.

I want them to see that when things get hard, you keep going. That hard work matters. That the good things in life rarely come easily, and that if you want something meaningful, you have to be willing to work for it.

There are days when I’d rather sleep in an extra hour or skip out and binge a book instead of pushing through another long day, but I hope they see that putting in the work…showing up even when it’s hard…can lead to incredible things.

At the same time, I’m trying to teach them balance. That strength also means knowing when to rest, when to practice self care, and when to step back and breathe. That we can do ANYTHING we put our minds to, but we have to prioritize ourselves, and our wellbeing, first and foremost.

So on this International Women’s Day, I just want to say thank you. Thank you to all of you who support this journey and this business. You’re not just supporting a dream, you’re helping me show my girls what strong, determined, compassionate women can build together. 💪✨

One of the hardest parts of being a small business owner is deciding which products stay… and which ones have to go.

The truth is, every product we create feels a little like our baby. We dream it up, test it, perfect it, and put it out into the world because we truly believe there’s a need for it. We love every single one.

But running a small business also means making tough decisions. As much as we’d love to keep everything forever, it’s important to lean into the products you all love most and that help keep the business strong and sustainable.

After taking a deep dive into last year’s sales, we’ve had to make some difficult choices. There are a few products that didn’t quite make the cut this time around, and while it’s hard for us, it’s an important step so we can stay focused, keep things fresh, and make room for new and exciting creations.

Over the next week, we’ll be revealing the products that are officially on the chopping block. We know some of you may be just as sad as we are to see them go…but this also means we’re creating space for what’s next. 💛

As a small business, one of the things I struggle with most is finding the balance between innovation and honoring what already works.

I love creating new, exciting products that keep things fresh and make you excited to come back, but I also never want to lose sight of the products you’ve loved for years. Some of our bestsellers, like our lip balms, have been favorites for 13 years, and for good reason. You love them, and we love making them.

Sometimes it’s hard to balance promoting what’s new while continuing to share and celebrate the tried-and-true products you already can’t live without. I spend a lot of time thinking about what you might want next…the next soy candle scent, the next lip balm flavor, the next product to add to the lineup.

So I’d love to hear from you…

Okay, let’s clear something up real quick because you weren’t the only ones asking 👀👇

We got a bunch of comments on our last post asking “Where did you move?” and “What’s your new address?” so we figured it was time for a little follow up (and a mini love letter 💌).

We’re no longer on Main Street, obviously, but honestly… our new space might be even better.
We’re right off Route 32, tucked behind the Eldersburg Post Office, across from Merritt Gym. You can literally swing by while running errands because we’re right around the corner from Martins, Safeway, Home Depot, Kohl’s and of course, Chick-fil-a!!

AND here’s the real glow-up ✨
🚗 Plenty of parking…No searching for a spot! Park right out front and walk right in!

We’re open:

• Saturday | 11–4

We’ve been so surprised (in the best way) by how many of you have followed us to our new location, and we are so grateful for you. Truly 🥹💗

This photo was taken on our very last day open on Main Street. It was supposed to be a happy picture…us celebrating the end of a chapter, and the beginning of a new one…but as we went to take it, I couldn’t hold back the tears. And that’s exactly what this photo captures…gratitude, sadness, pride, and love all wrapped into one moment.

People ask me almost every week if I’m happy that we moved from Main Street into our new space. And the honest answer is…most days, yes. I love having everything under one roof. I love having our store and our manufacturing together in one space. It makes sense, and it works well for us.

But there are still days when my heart aches for Main Street. I miss the community. I miss the energy. I miss people walking by, popping in, and discovering us for the very first time. I miss the windows. I miss the atmosphere. I miss that space.

When we made the move, we knew we would lose most walk-in traffic. And while we’re grateful that more new customers still find their way to us than we expected, it doesn’t replace the feeling of Main Street and the customers strolling by.

To all of our many customers who followed us off Main Street and continue to support us, thank you. Thank you for shopping with us, sharing our posts, telling your friends, and supporting our little family owned business in every way you can. Small businesses survive because of customers like you and the power of word of mouth.

We truly appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you all 🤍
