Visitation for John Ritter will be at 11 on Saturday November 12 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 25225 W. Ivanhoe Road, Wauconda, IL 60084, with a service at 12. A luncheon will be served immediately after for a time of fellowship.

John "Jack" Richard Ritter, age 77, of Elgin, IL,
passed away on November 1, 2016. John was born
in Minneapolis, MN on November 23, 1938 and is
survived by his sisters Marilyn Wells,
Lois (William) Gerse, Audrey Hammer and
Nancy Woodard, along with many neices and
nephews. John is preceeded in death by his
loving wife, Andrea, and sister, Jean Sullivan.
John worked in Advertising and as a free-lance
artist. He worked for many years building model
train layouts, which was his retirement dream.
He loved to cook and feed friends, but John's
greatest joy was his marriage to Andrea,
and was the force behind all of her endeavors.
Visitation will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church
(25225 W. Ivanhoe Rd. Wauconda, IL 60084)
on Saturday, November 12th at 11:00 with a service
starting at 12:00. Immediatedly following, a
luncheon will be served and a time for fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to
the American Heart Association or the
Diabetes Research Institute Foundation.

It is with a very heavy heart we tell you our dear friend, John Ritter has passed away. John was the beloved husband of Andrea who was the original partner of L'Essage. He was always there behind the scenes of L'Essage, managing home life and horses, so Andrea and Cara could develop all of the skills necessary to bring L'Essage to life and to all of our friends and clients. We can't even put into words how much we will miss him. We will update as soon as the date and the final arrangements have been made.
