Only 24 minutes, but 3 years ago, this routine seemed to take longer than Gone With the Wind. P90 was the first program I started with, and I took five weeks to finish A-Block, mainly because I wasn’t moving forward until I could finish the damn press jacks (see left). The point of P90 is that anyone can do it, even a 263-pound slug like my former alter ego, Captain Puffyface. I’m sure you’ll meet him sometime.

Guess who’s back? Back again? After six months out of the business, I’m out to try again. It’s been six months of sporadic and all-too-frequent dietary . I’m also adjusting to the life and making that work for both me and my . On nights/mornings they’re with me, it’ll be home-based / routines. When they’re gone, I’ll head to and grab some . Know what really burns my ass?..
This . really burns my ass. And my quads. And my hamstrings. It may be the most miserable routine in the entire X3 program. After all, part of it is these isometric moves, built around slow movements and time under tension. Those I can do all day long. The rest? Crazy jumping plyometric BS that totally kills my knees and forces me to find modifications. Butt the results (🍑) speak for themselves. After all, fellas, if the girls don’t check out your ass, work until they do. If they already do, work to keep it that way. 😄

I can certainly tell I haven’t pushed since June. My first session at Etown Swim & Fitness Center (yes, I bit the bullet and joined a ) saw me seriously struggle in my return to my program. And yes, I brought with me to the gym and kept up with Sagi again, even though I’m no longer a coach. Why? Remember...86 pounds lost.
