Tonight was all treats and no tricks at Helmwood and Elizabeth Sanford Swope! Residents had a wonderful time handing out candy to all the little ghouls and goblins, and our staff went all out with their creative costumes!

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this evening such a fun event. We loved seeing our community come together to make it a memorable Halloween.

👻 Trick or Treat at Helmwood Healthcare! 👻

We’re inviting our community to join us this Halloween from 5–7 PM for a fun and safe Trick-or-Treat night with our residents and staff! Bring your little ghosts and goblins to enjoy treats, smiles, and plenty of spooky fun right here at Helmwood Healthcare. 🍬🕸️

We’re also accepting candy donations to help make this event extra special for the kids (and our residents who love to pass out goodies!). Donations can be dropped off at our front desk anytime before Halloween.

🎉 What an unforgettable day at Helmwood’s 20th Annual Senior Q — and for the very first time, we celebrated alongside our sister community, Willow Creek Assisted Living!
Our Senior Q is all about coming together to honor our incredible residents, staff, and families who make our communities so special. ❤️
From live music that had toes tapping, to exciting fun like a dunk tank, bouncy house, face painting, cake walk, a silent auction, and so much more… there was laughter, joy, and smiles everywhere you looked!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, volunteered, or helped make this milestone event possible. There are so many people that contributed to this event. Here’s to 20 years of tradition, community, and celebration — and to many more to come!

Today is a day of mixed emotions as we said "see you later" to a very special member of our community, Ben Hawkins. This retired veteran is starting a new chapter as he transfers to the Radcliff Veterans Center to continue his care.
Ben has been a true inspiration to all of us. His unwavering positivity, sense of humor, and fondness for apple slices with peanut butter have made a lasting impact. While we'll miss his presence here, we are so happy that he will be receiving specialized care at the Radcliff Veterans Center, a facility dedicated to serving our nation's heroes.
We promise to visit and we’ll bring apple slices and peanut butter!
