We received a few coats and most of the shoes last week. The socks and remaining coats will arrive over the next few days. We are busy sorting and organizing! Parents who requested these items should be getting a phone call this week to pick them up. Thank you again to Western Oklahoma Family Care Center, Inc. for all their work getting the donations! Here at WOFCC, we’re able to help cover the cost of birth certificates and state IDs for individuals experiencing homelessness. These documents are essential steps toward obtaining employment and securing stable housing — making this program a cornerstone of our benevolence services.

If you or someone you know is experiencing homelessness and needs assistance obtaining identification, please stop by our office and speak with our compassionate staff. 🫶🏼

We’re excited to announce our 7th Annual Community Christmas Dinner!

Join us for a free holiday meal prepared by our friends at Poppy’s Pit & Grill, and enjoy an evening filled with food while spending time with friends and family.

As always, we’ll have gifts for our guests and a special visit from Elk City’s own Santa & Mrs. Claus!

As it gets colder outside, bear with us. The donations of shoes, socks, and coats are coming soon!  We will hopefully receive those and get them distributed next week.

❗️New Winter Hours❗️

Beginning November 1st, our closing time will be 4:00 p.m.

This change was not made lightly, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. At WOFCC, our mission remains to bring hope and help to those in need.

These adjusted hours will allow our team to spend more time out in the community, reaching and assisting our most vulnerable neighbors during the colder months. ❤️‍🩹

📍Beginning Monday, October 27th, we will be accepting non-perishable food donations to support HELP Inc. and their mission to serve those in need. These items can be dropped off ar our office during business hours: 1031 W. 5th St., Elk City, OK, 73644.

As a thank-you, anyone who donates 10 or more non-perishable food items or drinks will receive a coupon for 20% off their purchase at Christi’s Thrift Store. 🩷
