A few days ago, we shared the exciting news that RETA received a $10,000 matching grant for Giving Tuesday. Today, we’re thrilled to announce how we’re choosing to focus those matched gifts: ultrasounds.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re asking you to join us by giving $28, the cost to provide one ultrasound. You can give one, two, or as many as you feel led to provide. And thanks to our matching grant, every ultrasound you give will be doubled, instantly multiplying the impact on women and families in our community.

Why ultrasounds?
Because even with RETA’s full range of support, mental health services, medical care, mentorship programs, and practical resources, we never lose sight of how powerful this moment truly is. An ultrasound is often the turning point. Women who receive one are twice as likely to go on to give birth. And because of the wraparound care RETA provides, we can help ensure that these babies are not only born—but that they thrive.

I’m excited to share some great news as we prepare for Giving Tuesday on December 2nd!

We’ve just learned that RETA has been awarded a $10,000 matching grant made possible through a $7,500 J.P. Morgan Donor Advised Fund grant and a $2,500 gift from a friend of RETA.

This means that every dollar given on Giving Tuesday, up to $10,000 will be matched dollar for dollar, instantly doubling your impact for the women, children and families we serve.

We’ll be sharing more details soon about how you can participate, but for now, we want to express our deep gratitude.

RETA was grateful to take part in the Elkhart County Week of Compassion 2025, a countywide effort to bring awareness to hunger and homelessness right here in our community.

Thanks to generous donations from Great Harvest Michiana and The Electric Brew - Downtown Elkhart, we were able to serve warm chili and hot cocoa to more than 50 individuals.

We’re also deeply appreciative of the group from Nappanee Missionary Church who came out to help serve during tonight’s outreach.

We’re honored to be part of a community that shows up, cares deeply, and works together to make sure no one is forgotten.

One of RETA’s greatest strengths is our incredible mentoring program, with over 75 volunteer mentors meeting weekly with men and women, families, and teens—walking alongside them, encouraging them, and pouring into their lives in such tangible, life-giving ways.
