Join in the fun!

ITS TIME!!!!!!! It’s almost OT month and we can’t wait! How many times have you been asked what in the world an OT is?! Or what an OT can do? Do we only work on fine motor skills? Our goal this month is to bring awareness to all the amazing things OTs do and all the CREATIVITY that goes a long with it! Tomorrow we will be posting our photo a day challenge. We have been inspired by in the past but since they are not doing their challenge this year, we have decided to carry it on! More details to come tomorrow morning and the prizes that can be won! Developmental milestones and tummy time! Ocularmotor development happens on the floor. Being on the floor assists with head and neck strength and ROM needed for fixation, saccades and pursuits.

this is a fantastic Image of what brings clients to vision rehabilitation. Children who read this way do not realize there is anything wrong with the way their eyes are interpreting the words. This is also a common complaint of someone who has acquired a head injury.

awesome way to motivate working on reversals. Working in prone (on the child’s belly) facilitates antigravity positions to strengthen head and neck muscles and provides an opportunity to work on STNR. THANK YOU for your talented group of professionals always offering your generosity. A wealth of novel therex to work on in rehabilitation and as part of a home program 🥰
