Meet Heather!
Our Saturday Instructor

I started at Spirit in the spring of 2025 as an instructor. I’ve been teaching riding lessons since 1998 and therapeutic riding since 2010. I feel truly blessed to still be doing what I was called to do all those years ago, after completing two higher education programs.

If you were a horse, what color would you be and what would your name be?
I think I would be an American Bashkir, and my name might be Hilde.

Now that you’ve decided who you are as a horse, what would your equine job be?
I’d want a versatile job—cow work, therapy, and outdoor adventures.
