*helps fight off acne and breakouts as it is an antioxidant, meaning it fights off free radicals/pollutants that are caused by sun exposure!
*Vitamin C is our BFF when is comes to helping reduce hyperpigmentation or age spots! It assists in lightening these damaged areas by inhibiting melanin production in the skin.

-OILY / NORMAL skin should use L-ascorbic acid as it is the most potent & beneficial.

-DRY / SENSITIVE skin should use magnesium ascorbyl phosphate as it will be less irritating due to it being water soluble!

‼️IMPORTANT VIT. C INFO‼️
When using vitamin c, in any form, you should not use it along with any AHA’s or BHA’s (exfoliant acids: glycolic, salicylic, or lactic acids) since vitamin C itself is an acid. Using both at the same time is going to throw off your skins pH and in return compromise your protective layer leaving you exposed to possible further damage and breakout!
If you have questions regarding adding serums or acids to your regimen reach out to your Esthetician and ask!
