When it’s over 40 degrees in WI, it’s basically summer ☀️our mother daughter walk includes collecting leaves for a “leaf bouquet” and listening to a woodpecker find “bugs and worms!!”
It’s the little things. Always. 💕❤️

Yes, you can make your own crackers! The dough is made of oats, oregano, olive oil, baking soda, and water (coming soon to The Crowded Table 👏)
Kids can help roll it out and pick their favorite shapes. Airplanes, trains, and dogs are a few of my little one’s favorite things 🥰

Pro tip! Checkout cookbooks at your local library!
⭐️Try out a few recipes before you commit
⭐️ Save $$$ if you think you only want to try one recipe (this “checkout” would have been $104 had I bought them all)
⭐️ Feel inspired to try something new and different 💁♀️💁🏼♂️ This is key if you’re in a healthy eating rut but want to get back on the “bandwagon”

My must haves for an incredible green smoothie:
✅ Coconut water powder. It means I don’t have to keep cartons of coconut water on hand ( ), or worry about food waste if I don’t use the whole carton. It creates a sweet, electrolyte boosting smoothie!
✅ Fresh spinach that I FREEZE! Yep, that whole bag of fresh spinach goes directly from grocery bag into my freezer. So long wilted, slimy fresh spinach. So long food waste!
✅ Frozen pineapple core! When you cut your own pineapple, save that core! It has bromelain, an enzyme that reduces pain and swelling 💪
Should we do another green smoothie challenge? 🤔
My 19 month old couldn’t get enough of this one! Frozen mango, cherries, spinach, pink pineapple, coconut water 🤤

I may have already bought almost 100 eggs for an Easter egg hunt…

Making a creamy mushroom pasta and I JUST discovered this nut-free vegan cream cheese from Trader Joe’s (yes, of course) and WOW WOW WOW!! This tastes like the real deal.
The. Real. Deal.
Most vegan cream cheeses are made from nuts, but not this one! Coconut oil instead 👍

I wanted to be a physician since the time I was a young child.
It was 8:15 AM when I walked into the hospital to see my mom, who had just had a heart attack. When I walked into my mom's room, the young diet clerk was serving breakfast. My mom was given a pile of eggs covered in a mound of melted cheese, and to the patient on the other side of the room, they served a cheeseburger. My head reeled.
There I was, a premed sophomore in college, furiously studying to become a surgeon, and here was my mom, a patient in one of the nation's greatest teaching hospitals, being served a meal that in no way promoted her heart health.
That day, I experienced firsthand a gap in modern treatment. Was there another way to help prevent chronic disease, minimize symptoms, and treat illnesses besides being a doctor?
This pivotal moment in my life transformed my career path.
I set out to help bridge the gap between modern treatment and daily lifestyle habits.
It's my mission to help people live their healthiest, fullest lives and reach their greatest potential through optimizing nutrition and lifestyle.
I believe that one of the simplest ways to eat healthier is to prepare more food at home.
And the good news is that “preparing food at home” doesn’t have to mean hours of cooking, loads of pots and dishes to clean, and tons of ingredients.
I created a guide for you to stock your kitchen with 10 simple and easily accessible ingredients, and how to use those 10 items to make 21 simple, quick & easy meals and snacks!
