A big thank you to National Fuel and their incredible volunteers Dan, Zak, Matt, Jennifer, and Colette for spending the day with us as part of their “Days of Doing” volunteer initiative 💪

We’re grateful for their help painting a new sensory room and staining the back shed. Two big projects for us!

📣 We’re looking for support staff for a Self-Direction opportunity in Chaffee, with the option to meet at a central community location for services.

Self-Direction is a program that allows people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to choose the supports, staff, and activities that best fit their goals, interests, and daily life.

This opportunity is to support someone who enjoys photography, going for walks in the park, shopping, and going out to eat!

The right person for this role would be patient, dependable, encouraging, and enjoy helping someone stay active in the community.

Support may include:
• Providing support and supervision during chosen community activities
• Teaching and modeling communication skills to encourage positive social interaction
• Reviewing safety skills, personal boundaries, and traffic safety while out in the community
• Assisting with personal hygiene
• Helping with simple household and cooking tasks while encouraging independence and thoroughness

Schedule includes:
• Saturdays
• Sundays
• School breaks
• Additional after-school hours available Monday, Wednesday, and some Fridays

Pay is a competitive rate based on experience.

Moving Miracles is all about creating opportunities for dancers of all abilities to express themselves, build confidence, and be celebrated for who they are.

We’re helping connect someone with support staff through Self-Directed Services.

Self-Direction allows people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to build supports around what matters most to them.

This role involves supporting daily routines and helping build independence, while also getting out into the community for activities.

Support includes things like:
• Building independent living skills (hygiene, cleaning, cooking, laundry)
• Supporting participation in community activities
• Assisting with communication and helping manage frustration through relaxation techniques

Schedule includes weekends, school breaks, and possible after school hours on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Family is open to meeting staff at a community location to provide services.

We’re helping connect an energetic young man in his early 20s with support staff who enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors.

He likes to keep busy with hands-on activities and is looking for someone who can support him in getting out into the community and staying engaged.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys being active, working with their hands, and helping someone build independence.

Schedule is flexible Monday through Saturday, with 15–20 hours per week and opportunities for additional hours.
