🔔 Heads-up NYC!
The clocks are changing soon:
• In 2025 we will “spring forward” on March 9 (lose one hour)
• Then we “fall back” on November 2 (gain one hour)
Set your clocks, check your devices, and enjoy that extra hour of sleep in November!

🕒 Daylight Saving Time applies to:

➡️ Most of the United States, including New York City, follows the same time change schedule —
• Start: Second Sunday in March (Spring Forward 🌸)
• End: First Sunday in November (Fall Back 🍂)

So NYC changes time on the same dates as almost the entire U.S.

🚫 Exceptions (places that do not change the clock)

Only two main areas in the U.S. don’t observe Daylight Saving Time:
1. Hawaii 🌺 — stays on standard time all year.
2. Most of Arizona 🌵 — except the Navajo Nation, which does follow DST.

🕒 What you need to do
• At 2 a.m. on those dates:
• In March: set clocks forward one hour (so 2 a.m → 3 a.m.). 
• In November: set clocks back one hour (so 2 a.m. → 1 a.m.). 
• Many devices (smartphones, computers) will adjust automatically — but check manually on analog clocks, wall clocks, old appliances, etc.

✅ NYC follows the national schedule for Daylight Saving Time.
🕑 So when the U.S. changes time, New York changes too — no difference in dates.
