I can go with the flow…
as long as I chose it, prepared for it, researched it,
and it unfolds exactly how I pictured it in my head at 3am.

When anxiety runs this high, it doesn’t stay contained. It shows up in motherhood as:
• Needing routines to go just right
• Feeling overwhelmed when plans change
• Micromanaging sleep, schedules, and outcomes
• Struggling to rest because your brain is always ā€˜on’
• Feeling like you’re the only thing holding everything together

This isn’t because you’re doing motherhood wrong.
It’s because an anxious nervous system is trying to create safety through control.

In therapy, we work on:
• Increasing tolerance for uncertainty
• Regulating the nervous system (not just ā€˜thinking positive’)
• Loosening control without everything falling apart
• Helping you feel calmer inside motherhood, not just more competent at it

Mid-January is where New Year’s resolutions go to quietly die.
Not because you’re lazy…but because you’re a human and a mom trying to overhaul your life in the middle of survival mode.
