On Monday, we had the privilege of welcoming Shifu Ed D’Urso from The Fire Mountain School to lead an unforgettable fascia workshop that beautifully blended martial arts wisdom with modern movement science.

💫 With over 40 participants in person and online, our classroom transformed into a space of learning, laughter, and deep connection. From fascia activation demos to breath-led movement, Shifu Ed’s energy and wisdom left a lasting impact on everyone present.

Meet Jazzmen Hempstead, an NHI Sacramento graduate who has been a massage therapist since 2018 and is still thriving. Her focus is on deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage—but her passion is helping people feel better in their bodies, especially those living with chronic pain and mobility challenges.

💬 “I am honored to stand in the gap of health and wellness on behalf of those experiencing chronic pain and mobility issues.”

Jazzmen is currently completing her Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and continues to grow her private practice, Bounce Back Mobility.

With a passion for deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, and prenatal massage, Jazzmen’s mission goes beyond the table. She dreams of working with amputees, athletes, veterans, and even horses in the future.
