In 1863, right in the middle of the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln declared Thanksgiving a national holiday. Not for the food or the festivities, but to encourage unity, reflection, and healing during one of the darkest moments in our history.
At Pinnacle Care, we believe that message still matters today.
Thanksgiving isn’t just about a table full of food.
It’s about slowing down, checking in on the people we care about, finding moments of gratitude, and giving ourselves space to heal, no matter what season of life we’re in.
This week, be gentle with yourself.
Reach out to someone who might be struggling.
And remember: healing, hope, and connection are still powerful forces.
🧡 From all of us at Pinnacle Care Behavioral Health, we wish you a safe, peaceful, and meaningful Thanksgiving.
