A great way to include Black History Month in your speech sessions is to teach the children about famous inventors. My students got really invested as we made a craft for the to also proudly display. Each time they came into speech, we talked about Mr. Garrett Morgan and what he contributed to society. We didn’t win the door decoration contest, but every kid was proud of what they learned and displayed to honor him.

My amazing SLP friend has made an amazing product that I can’t wait to get from Amazon!

Well…I did a thing this Summer! God and I have been talking and when He says, “Go”, I go. I have begun creating a series of phonological processes coloring/activity books for speech therapy. These processes affect speech intelligibility. Therefore, this series is created to help children carry over their skills from their speech therapy sessions. These books can be purchased on Amazon. The Spanish version of the Fronting book will be out soon.
