Foothills Midwifery & The Birth Cottage is looking for additional birth assistants to join our on-call team. If you have experience in birthwork and/or healthcare and are interested in flexible, meaningful work supporting families during birth, we’d love to connect.

The Birth Cottage is looking for more birth assistants!

We're going to host another birth assistant orientation on November 16, 2025! If you're interested in birth assisting and this day is available for you, RSPV by text to 360-226-2362

If you have some experience in healthcare or have gone to births as a doula, you may be a good fit.

We'll be doing a thorough tour of the birth center, practicing skills, signing paperwork talking about the shadow period. It typically takes 3 hours. Would love to see you there!
